Interviewing the Elderly

Went Tao Payoh for HB project today. We are required to interview 2 elderly who are 60 yr old and above about their life journey from young till now. There is a so called ‘elderly studio’ in Tao Payoh, it is actually a HDB where a lot elderly people live there. We went level to level (we only ask those with the doors open) to ask if there is any of them don’t mind letting us interview. We managed to interview 3 elderly and found that they are actually quite ‘open’. One of the elderly even let us into her house for us to interview her. Some of the questions we ask are quite personal and sensitive so we could feel that they did not want to share most of the things with us. But overall is it not a wasted trip as I can say.
