Meet up with PS and Yijin yesterday to celebrate PS birthday in advance. After so much discussing and consideration, no one wants to make the final decision so I suggested Benten Café as I wanted to try it since the other time I saw it at Jurong Point. So we treated PS to Benten Café at Iluma. There were not a lot people at that branch… maybe I can say there were not a lot people at Bugis too. To me, it’s a bit weird as it was Mother’s day yesterday but there weren’t many people at all. Here comes the food we ordered which are shared among us. Since the cafe is famous for its dessert, of course we want to try them too. Even though there is this super big glass of ice cream at $38+ we can’t ordered it as how can it be possible for 3 girls to finish them or you can say 4 girls because for myself, I can eat the share for 2… haha.
It is like a yuan yang pizza. We change half of it to hahawaiian pizza and the other half remain Teriyaki Pizza. The Teriyaki Pizza is nice.
After lunch will be shopping time of course. But we did not get anything at all. For me, I am able to resist all the temptation because I got no money left after my contact lens. When it’s around evening, we are tired and thirsty so we headed to Hip Diner USA to have some drinks but we 3 ended up drinking their soup instead of ordering drinks and it’s kinda weird as we only ordered soup… a bit paiseh. But their food look nice and the price are reasonable, somemore they got the 1 for 1 promotion… will go with dear to try both place next time.
